Adam was born and raised on a farm near Calumet, IA. He now lives with his wife and three children on an acreage near Alta, IA. He is actively involved with the family row crop, cow/calf & feeder cattle operation and has been his whole life. He worked in ag lending for 12.5 years following college. During that time, he worked to help customers grow their operations. Adam was passionate about helping calculate break-evens which helped customers with their marketing and minimizing risk on both the row crop and cattle side. Adam is a registered broker and his goal is to take that knowledge and experience to the next level by helping customers concentrate on their bottom line in conjunction with risk management to help them focus on profit.
Dan was born and raised on a farm in Atkins, IA where he now resides with his wife and three sons. Whether it is row crop operations, cow/calf producers, or the feedlot sector, Dan has always had a passion for marketing. His market knowledge and experience was earned in the same way many farmers and ranchers learn, the hands on way with guidance from the right people. He is now a registered broker and takes pride in understanding which tool is right for each operation. Dan enjoys educating people who are new to risk management. His goal is to make sure each producer is prepared and understands the risks and rewards that are possible in production agriculture.
Shane was raised on the family row crop farm near Pomeroy, IA. He now lives near Storm Lake, IA with his wife and two sons. He is still involved in the farming operation and looks forward to the day that his kids can be involved. Shane feeds a small number of cattle on his acreage along with contract swine feeding. He developed his market knowledge from his time with a large grain firm, he became a registered broker at that time. After 6 years in the grain business, he made a transition to an ag lending job. Lending taught him to focus on profit instead of listening to all the "noise" in the market. After 6 years in lending, the call back to commodities eventually won and Logic Livestock was born.
